About
This site is not about me. It is about the Lord Christ Jesus and the salvation He provided for us through His death, burial, and resurrection. It is about walking the Christian life out through prayer, witnessing, Bible study, and service to others. It is by way of this life of Bible study, prayer, witnessing, and service to others that I believe we truly serve God. But for the few of you who may wish to know a little more about me, here are a few tidbits for you to chew on.
I grew up in Northeast Louisiana in a very rural area five miles east of Kilbourne. It is almost fifty miles from the nearest four lane highway! We were a farming family and we raised cattle, horses, hogs, chickens, and the occasional goat. Presently, I work as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a nursing home providing care for people with various forms of dementia.
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Religion from Liberty University and I am an ordained Minister of the Gospel.
I am married to my best friend, Cheryl, who supports me in all things. I have two daughters. The youngest of which is autistic and the oldest has blessed me with a beautiful granddaughter. I have three step children who are all grown and God has blessed me with eight grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
I enjoy reading, writing, fishing, gardening, and bird watching.
I love to see people get saved. I love to see Christians in revival and on fire for God. I love preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
That’s me in a nutshell. Now, let us move on to more important matters.
