Invite The Old Watchman to Speak
Thank you for your interest in inviting me to speak.
My name is Lonnie Richardson. For more than sixty years I have walked through the ordinary and extraordinary experiences of life—growing up and working on a family farm, spending thirty years as a nurse, and more recently navigating the challenges of recovery after a life-changing stroke that forced me into retirement.
Through every season, my Christian faith has been my anchor.
I am available to speak at churches, men’s ministries, retreats, Sunday School classes, community groups, and other gatherings where people are seeking encouragement, hope, and practical faith for real life.
Topics Include:
- Faith Through Stroke and Life’s Unexpected Trials (testimony)
- Lessons Learned from Both Sides of the Hospital Bed
- Endurance When Life Changes Direction
- Finding Purpose After Loss
- A Working Man’s Journey of Faith
- The Importance of Finishing Well
- Encouragement for Caregivers and Families
My speaking style is conversational, honest, and rooted in personal experience. But always, my talks are anchored in Scripture. Rather than presenting polished answers, I share what God has taught me through work, hardship, recovery, and daily faithfulness.
If you believe my story would encourage your group, I would be honored to discuss your event.
Please include the following information, in the contact form below, when contacting me:
- Name of your church, organization, or group

Lonnie Richardson
